STERLING, VA. (Sept. 29, 3 p.m. ET) — Gammaflux LP will supply its hot runner temperature controllers to injection press manufacturer Milacron LLC under a private-label agreement announced Sept. 29.
Effectively immediately, Milacron will distribute the complete line of Gammaflux LEC and TTC hot runner temperature controllers, as auxiliary equipment options on Milacron injection molding machines.
Milacron will use standalone Gammaflux controllers, and the machinery maker also plans to integrate the controls directly into its Mosaic machine control panels.
Mike Brostedt, Gammaflux director of market development, said it's a good match between two U.S. companies. Gammaflux is based in Sterling. Milacron's headquarters is in Cincinnati and it assembles machinery in nearby Batavia, Ohio.
“We see our agreement as a partnership between two strong American companies, joining forces to help plastics processors improve their molding operations,” Brostedt said.
Wayne Taylor, business manager of the purchased products group at Milacron, said the Gammaflux product line “strengthens Milacron's strategy of being the premier supplier of solutions for the plastics industry.”
