NOVARA, ITALY (Oct. 11, 3:20 p.m. ET) — Italian investment fund the Fondo Italiano di Investimento has purchased a 10 million euro ($13.6 million) equity share in Novara-based Amut SpA, a producer of extrusion, recycling and thermoforming equipment.
The deal gives the fund a minority share in the company.
Fondo Italiano di Investimento says the funding will support Amut's future growth and give them a stronger base to compete on the market.
Amut, founded in 1958, employs some 165 people and brings in yearly sales of approximately 47 million euros ($64.2 million).
