ROMEOVILLE, ILL. (Oct. 26, 3:30 p.m. ET) — L-R Systems Inc., a maker of material handling equipment, blenders, granulators, dryers, processing cooling and heating systems and other auxiliary machinery, has began production at a 31,000-square-foot plant in Romeoville that doubles its size.
L-R Systems moved from Joliet, Ill., to Romeoville.
The new factory will enable L-R Systems to continue building equipment for specific applications, and continue growing in a more efficient layout.
“We have updated and expanded our manufacturing capabilities to meet ever-increasing customer demands,” said Keith Stark, general manager.
He said the auxiliary equipment maker installed a new paint booth, burn table, extra storage racking and a dust ventilation system.
The plant location is close to major highways and airports.
L-R Systems serves the plastics, food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
