MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO (Oct. 31, 2 p.m. ET) — An auction is set for the end of November for the assets of the shuttered Ryka Molds Inc.
Officials for the Mississauga-based maker of blow molds have not responded to requests for comments, but reports said the company closed in October.
TCL Asset Group Inc. of Toronto will host an auction both online and at the company site on Nov. 30, selling machining centers, grinders, lathes and other equipment. Information about the auction is available at TCL's web site, said auctioneer Terrance Jacobs.
Rick Hanke and Alfie Stein bought Ryka Molds from SIG Group of Neuhausen Rhine Falls, Switzerland, in 2004, pledging to emphasize the company's focus on industrial, automotive and general packaging blow mold tooling. The company had been in business for more than 30 years.
