LOWELL, MASS. (Nov. 1, 2 p.m. ET) — Entec Polymers LLC and Channel Prime Alliance will distribute Mirel bioplastics in North America.
Mirel bioplastics are made by Lowell-based Telles LLC, a joint venture between Metabolix Inc. and Archer Daniels Midland Co.
Telles touts Mirel resins as having physical properties comparable to conventional resins, yet are biobased and biodegradable in natural soil and water environments, in home composting systems, and in industrial composting facilities. The company has injection molding, thermoforming, sheet extrusion and film grades.
