GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. (Nov. 22, 1:10 p.m. ET) — ADAC Automotive Inc. is ready to launch a nearly $4.7 million expansion to supplement its plastics operations in Muskegon, Mich.
The new 70,000-square-foot plant will have a “state of the art” paint system, adjacent to an existing molding facility for the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based company, and will employ 130 people when it opens, ADAC officials said in a Nov. 22 news release.
The city of Muskegon is expected to approve a tax abatement request to help finance the project. Groundbreaking is set for March.
ADAC specializes in door handles, exterior mirrors and exterior trim. The new paint facility will provide increased flexibility in the type of parts it makes and provide capacity for future production, the company said.
