TROY, MICH. (Dec. 20, 3:10 p.m. ET) — Auto supplier Inteva Products LLC is expanding in South Korea with a new 295,000-square-foot operation for its Korean joint venture combining injection molding and assembling.
The Inteva KDS operation will have production for door latches, strikers, handles and power folding mirror actuators as well as space for future roof modules, Troy, Mich.-based Inteva said in a Dec. 20 news release.
The plant in Gyeongbuk replaces a previous Inteva KDS operation that was on the campus of Inteva's joint venture partner, SL Corp. of Gyeongbuk.
Inteva KDS has 400 employees making parts for General Motors, Ssangyong Motor, Hyundai, Volkswagen and Peugeot.
