CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Jan. 10, 12 p.m. ET) – Jorge Young has been named president and CEO of PET resin supplier DAK Americas LLC. He replaces Hector Camberos, who is retiring.
Young has been with DAK Americas since it was established and has been serving as the executive vice president - PET resins since 2007.
Charlotte-based DAK also announced that:
• Jon McNaull, currently vice president — polyester staple fibers will become vice president – resins.
• Tom Sherlock, current business director – PET resins, is promoted to vice president – specialty polymers.
• Mark Ruday, after serving as president of the newly acquired Wellman Inc., will transfer to DAK Americas as vice president - fibers.
DAK is owned by Alfa SAB de CV of Monterrey Mexico.
