CROYDON, ENGLAND (Jan. 11, 12 p.m. ET) — Starting this month, the print version of European Plastics News has a fresh new look, including a new logo and new editorial elements.
European Plastics News is a monthly magazine and sister publication to Plastics News.
Readers can take a look at in a virtual edition here.
The redesign not only gives readers a fresh new look but also includes a variety of new and independently researched content. A new Analysis & Markets section will look at issues behind the news, examining the implications of major changes and trends from inside and outside the industry.
For example, the January edition of the magazine included an article on Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization and what this means for the polymers sector; and another on the challenge for PVC newcomer Klesch Group as it takes over the PVC operations of Arkema.
And emphasizing its role as a pan-European magazine, European Plastics News now features the EU Watch, written by specialist journalist Keith Nuthall, keeping readers up to date on important regulatory developments in EU institutions.
EPN has also enhanced its Polymer Prices pages. Commodity thermoplastics will be covered in more detail every month, and there will be longer quarterly features on prices for engineering thermoplastics, starting in the February issue.
The magazine's feature articles continue to examine state-of-the-art processing, technology and materials, and EPN has added a Technology & Materials section to provide regular monthly updates.
