HOLLISTON, MASS. (March 13, 12:25 p.m. ET) — American Durafilm will begin distributing industrial fluoropolymer barrier films made by Honeywell International, according to a news release from Honeywell.
The agreement entails North American distribution of Honeywell's range of polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) films and any future PCTFE-based products.
“American Durafilm has been in the film distribution business for more than 60 years, and their expertise will help us broaden our reach and better serve our customers,” said Perry Fan, global business manager for Honeywell's flexible packaging business, in the release.
Due to their high level of moisture, chemical resistance and durability in harsh environments, the PCTFE films are often used aerospace and packing applications in addition to electronic displays and formed parts.
Honeywell's Pottsville, Pa. facility produces the films and the Fortune 100 manufacturer is based in Morris Township, N.J.
American Durafilm is an established distributor and fabricator of high performance films and is based in Holliston, Mass.
