MILWAUKEE (March 20, 12:40 p.m. ET) — A layoff notice for Tulip Molded Plastics Corp. indicates 15 workers lost their jobs on March 9.
The news comes from the Worker Adjustment Retaining Notification Act and State Plant Closing Law list released by Wisconsin's Worknet, in a notice dated March 12.
The Milwaukee-based injection molder also reduced the hours of its remaining employees.
A representative of the company declined to comment, so it is unclear whether the layoff is temporary and what this development means for the injection molder.
Tulip also has facilities in Industry, Calif., and Niagara Falls, N.Y. It produces materials for the battery, dairy, bottled water and solid waste environmental industries.
