BUTLER, WIS. (April 2, 9:30 a.m. ET) — Medical device molder and extruder MRPC has added a second location to its production operations by acquiring ETI Inc. of Largo, Fla.
“ETI adds tremendous value to MRPC, starting with the people, who we are excited to add to our expert team,” stated MRPC President Greg Riemer in an April 2 news release. “We are also thrilled to bring our customers even more horsepower in liquid silicone molding, while providing the security and convenience of multi-location production facilities.”
MRPC of Butler, Wis., specializes in clean room molding, especially silicone molding, multi-material molding and micromolding. ETI focuses on liquid silicone molding. The two companies combined have five clean rooms from Class 10,000 to 100,000.
Both firms' facilities will continue operating and retain engineering. ETI will be a division of MRPC.
Markets served by the combined companies include medical, infant care, commercial, consumer dispensing and electronics.
“The combination of MRPC and ETI, with our shared commitment to excellence and complementary skill sets, creates a strategic advantage and elevates the national profile of both companies,” noted ETI general manager Jim Smith in a news release.
