ST. LOUIS (April 10, 12 p.m. ET) — Jeffrey Kellar has been named president and CEO of St. Louis-based blow molder Alpha Packaging Inc.
Kellar has more than 20 years of packaging industry experience, most recently as president of Hexacomb, a Boise, Idaho-based supplier of paper-based protective packaging. He previously was president of Alcoa's Flexible Packaging business.
Kellar replaces Dave Spence, the company's founder, who left the firm to run for governor of Missouri.
Alpha is owned by private equity firm Irving Place Capital. Alpha makes bottles for nutritional, pharmaceutical, personal care, household chemical, and niche food and beverage markets.
