Officials are investigating the collapse of a stage being set up for a Radiohead show in Toronto this weekend. The band's drum technician was killed in the collapse, which also injured three other band crew members. The stage "crumpled in on itself" late in the afternoon of June 16, according to The Globe and Mail. I've been watching coverage of this over the past few days, and I haven't seen any reports that cite the on-stage lighting made from a wall of used PET water bottles, which I wrote about last week. I'll keep an eye on the investigation. At this point, it does not appear that it was weather-related.
