AZUSA, CALIF. (June 27, 1:35 p.m. ET) — Specialty packaging manufacturer Arminak & Associates Inc. is opening a new facility in New Albany, Ohio.
Arminak, based in Azusa, Calif., makes bottles, foamers, pumps, sprayers and other packaging for cosmetics, personal care and household products.
The company is leasing a 50,000 square foot production facility in the New Albany Business Park's Personal Care and Beauty campus. The campus houses companies that manufacturer, package and distribute cosmetics, beauty supplies and other personal care products.
The location will allow Arminak to take advantage of creative synergies, expand the company's footprint and further serve its customers, said Lynn Brooks, president of Rieke Packaging Systems, Arminak's parent company, in a news release.
Rieke is a division of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., -based TriMas Corp. TriMas acquired Arminak in February.
Arminak plans to add 50 full-time positions at the new facility. The company received a 7-year, 50 percent tax credit from the Ohio Tax Credit Authority for its job creation plans.
