SHREWSBURY, MASS. (July 9, 10:20 a.m. ET) — TriStar Plastics Corp. has opened a 7,000 square foot facility in Hoffman Estates, Ill., to serve customers in the Midwest.
The location, which is triple the size of the company's previous Midwest facility, houses engineering, sales and distribution functions.
“Our dynamic growth in the Midwest necessitated a move to a facility with a larger footprint,” said CEO Richard Cedrone, in a news release.
The facility is one of five nationwide branches of Shrewsbury-based TriStar Plastics, and will be managed by Richard Caldwell.
Founded in 1982, TriStar makes and markets high-performance polymers, composites and self-lubricating bearing materials.
The company also has offices in North Carolina, Southern California, and Texas.
