Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting in the parking lot of Cabarrus Plastics Inc. in Concord, N.C.
Chong Vue Lo, 35, of Albemarle, N.C., was arrested by Albemarle police late July 10.
He is charged with murder in the death of Pao Yang, 37, of Kannapolis, N.C.
Police received a 911 call around 5 a.m. July 10 and found that Yang had been shot in his parked car.
Concord police Major Allen Overcash said the victim and Lo's wife both worked at Cabarrus Plastics. Lo did not work at the injection molder.
“The victim was arriving for work for the early morning shift, and we still don't have all the details behind it. But we think it was a domestic dispute,” Overcash said.
Police launched a manhunt for Lo. Police had no immediate details about the arrest.
The shooting caused limited disruption at Cabarrus, which resumed normal operations, according to John Hyre, spokesman for Commercial Vehicle Group Inc. of Albany, Ohio, which owns Cabarrus.
