Vinyl window and patio door manufacturer Simonton Building Products Inc. has created a web portal designed to help provide building professional with tools — at no cost — that they can use to grow their business.
The recently launched Simonton ProNetwork program offers builders, remodelers, contractors and dealers a variety of business-building and lead-generation tools, educational training programs, marketing and sales support, and reward incentives.
“This is far more than just another loyalty program,” said Gary Pember, vice president of marketing for the Columbus, Ohio-based company that has its manufacturing plant in Parkersburg, W.Va. “We've designed ProNetwork to be a strategic resource. Each registered member has the ability to custom-create their own course programs at Simonton University, qualify as a Simonton preferred installer and gain business-building knowledge and tools.”
Through the Simonton ProNetwork portal, building professionals can access in-depth, exclusive courses 24/7, as well as customizable marketing and sales materials on the Ad Builder portion of the site.
There are separate training courses in different market segments: the College of Windows and Doors, the Business School and the Technical School. The portal also allows members to earn points that are redeemable for sales, marketing and lead-generation tools, Simonton-branded items and advanced training opportunities, Pember said.
“We invested more than a year in researching and preparing the ProNetwork program to make it a valuable, all-encompassing opportunity for industry professionals [with tools they can use] to drive awareness of their companies and positively enhance their selling efforts, helping them grow their businesses,” Pember said.
Simonton windows and doors recently were ranked highest in overall satisfaction by consumers for the third consecutive year in the J.D. Powers and Associate 2012 Windows and Patio Doors Satisfaction study.
According to the study, Simonton performed well in five of the six rating categories: ordering and delivery; operational performance and durability; price paid for products and services received; appearance and design features; warranty; and repair/replacement.
Simonton received the highest possible ranking in all categories except repair/replacement, and the company has increased its total score from 810 to 818 to 831 the past three years and widened its gap on the second-ranked company from 11 index points to 36 index points just in the last year.
The 2012 Windows and Patio Doors Satisfaction Study, released June 13, is based on responses in January and February from more than 2,500 customers who purchased new windows or patio doors during the previous 12 months.
“We're especially pleased that we have increased our overall satisfaction ranking among consumers by such a significant margin in 2012,” said Mark Savan, president of Simonton Windows. “Receiving this ranking for the third consecutive year is a milestone for us. This unbiased performance indicator demonstrates our commitment to excel in meeting the needs of consumers and our customers.”
