DEPEW, N.Y. (Aug. 1, 12:30 p.m. ET) — Dyna-Purge division of Shuman Plastics Inc., which makes engineered purging compounds, recently marked its 30th anniversary.
The division is operated by the third generation of the Shuman family: Ken Shuman, president, and Dan Shuman, executive vice president.
Tim Cutler, who has been with the company for 11 years, serves as vice president of the Dyna-Purge division, Kelli Ropach was promoted to international business manager in 2011, and Nancy Mitchell serves as technical product manager.
Depew-based Shuman Plastics was founded in 1947 and supplies thermoplastics and specialized recycling services.
Dyna-Purge has doubled its production capacity in the past 10 years, according to the company. The company's latest formulation introduced in 2012 is New Dyna-Purge E2, an integrated polymer system developed for purging high-temperature resins.
"Our success has enabled us to consistently introduce new technology innovations,” said Ken Shuman, in a news release.
