Objet Ltd. rolled out its largest three-dimensional laser printer, the Objet1000, at the Euromold trade show.
Objet is based in Rehovot, Israel.
The Objet1000 features a wide-format build envelope measuring 39.3 inches by 31.4 inches by 19.6 inches wide. That makes it useful for the automotive, defense and aerospace, industrial machinery, consumer goods and household appliance sectors that need to create industrial-size, actual size prototypes.
The 3D printer combines a large platform with inkjet 3D printing and Objet's Connex multi-material capability.
The company also showed the Objet1000 at Autodesk University 2012 in Las Vegas Nov. 28.
Earlier this year Objet merged with Stratasys Inc. of Eden Prairie, Minn.
