WASHINGTON -- Plaintiffs in two class action lawsuits concerning Vitafoam Inc. and Domfoam International Inc. have reached a proposed settlement.
Law firms Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP and Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP said jan. 29 that direct purchasers of flexible polyurethane from any flexible PU manufacturer could be a class member in the settlements. The settlements refer to alleged price-fixing of flexible PU foam.
The law firms said that anyone wishing to claim must submit a claim form by April 30. Plaintiffs also have the right to exclude themselves from one or both settlements, or to object to the settlements, by April 30. If plaintiffs take no action, then they will give up the right to sue the Vitafoam defendants and Domfoam parties.
