PORTO MARGHERA, ITALY -- Two plants, formerly belonging to Vinyls Italia, have gone on sale.
The VCM/PVC plant complexes are being sold by International Process Plants (IPP), an American company that buys and sells plants that are no longer used by their owners.
One complex, located in Porto Marghera, Italy, includes a 260,000 tonne VCM plant and a 170,000 tonne suspension PVC plant. The downstream SPVC plant produces both rigid and flexible PVC grades.
The other complex, which is in Porto Torres in Italy, has a 120,000 tonne VCM plant and a 75,000 tonne emulsion PVC plant.
The VCM / PVC plants may be purchased as a complete unit or as individual VCM and PVC process lines.
