BOLTON, ONTARIO — Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. is restructuring its global leadership team to put new emphasis on its hot-runner and beverage packaging businesses.
Gerardo Chiaia will become the company's first president of hot runners while Keith Carlton has been named vice president of global sales, beverage and packaging. Both also will continue as members of the executive team for Bolton-based Husky.
Under the changes, Husky will establish hot runners as its own stand-alone business under Chiaia. The new business unit will allow the company to better serve customers, Husky said in a May 6 news release.
Chiala has been with Husky since 1994 and was president of its beverage packaging business and vice president of global sales since 2011.
Carlton is the former chief operating officer with Husky. In his new position he will work to more closely align operations and sales activities for beverage packaging.
Husky also is created a dedicated team to develop, refine and launch new products. Robert Domodossola will oversee the team as vice president, engineering and business development. He was director of development engineering for the firm since 2008.
