LIVONIA, MICH. — The Automotive Division of the Society of Plastics Engineered has set its annual Automotive Innovation Awards event for Wednesday, Nov. 6.
The dinner and awards ceremony will take place once again at Burton Manor, in Livonia, Mich.
SPE honors top parts from existing vehicle production during the awards as well as noting engineers, engineering teams and breakthrough parts from past production.
The 2013 event will highlight the use of plastics to improve vehicle mileage improvements, said Jeffrey Helms, global automotive director for Ticona Engineering Polymers and awards chairman.
