ORLANDO, FLA. — Filmquest Group Inc., a Bolingbrook, Ill.-based converter of polyester, nylon, polypropylene and polylactic acid films, introduced three new products at the ICE USA show in Orlando.
CP-267 is a soft-touch, ultra-low-gloss film with a dead matte surface allowing high-definition graphics to be seen from any angle.
Metalized CP-270 was developed for flexible packaging applications where several layers of film are laminated together using a solventless process. The film uses a proprietary polymer primer to prevent delamination.
CP-218 is a gold-pigmented coated film that can show off bakery and deli goods without setting off metal detectors.
Vice President Steven Smith said the company has developed its own metalizing and coating equipment to support product development.
