CARLISLE, PA. — Carlisle Construction Materials will invest $40 million and add 50 jobs at its Carlisle, Pa., facility to add a new membrane manufacturing line.
Carlisle, part of Carlisle Cos. Inc. of Charlotte, N.C., will expand to begin producing a thermoplastic polyolefin membrane line for its construction products, the state of Pennsylvania noted in a May 21 news release.
CCM makes membranes used for both standard roofs and green “garden” roof systems. It plans to build a new 72,500-square-foot facility in Carlisle and add employees to the current base of 537 jobs, state officials said.
The company will receive a $100,000 grant from the Pennsylvania First Program, $100,000 in job creation tax credits and $22,500 from the state's Guaranteed Free Training Grant program to use for skills training for both current and future employees.
