DUBLIN, OHIO — Mold maker International Engineering Group LLC is launching an expansion in Hilliard, Ohio, that will allow it to add molding machines and service molds in addition to its current production.
The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 40 percent, five-year tax credit for IEG on May 20 that will help in the creation of an additional $1.3 million in payroll for its expansion, the state said in a news release.
IEG plans to buy an existing building in Hilliard and move from nearby Dublin, Ohio, as part of its plans, the state said. The company also is considering additional growth within the southwestern United States to meet “significant orders” from the Texas region.
The company plans to create 27 full time jobs, state officials said.
IEG produces injection mold tooling for housewares, electronics and the appliance industries.
