CADIZ, KY. — Christopher Eaton, a plastics machinery veteran who specialized in sheet extrusion technology, died at his home in Cadiz on May 24. He was 58 years old.
His wife of 25 years, Margaret Eaton, said he died after a long battle with cancer. He stopped working in the industry in 2008, but Margaret said her husband talked often about his work.
"He had a million funny stories," she said.
Eaton worked at Battenfeld Gloucester Engineering Co., Cincinnati Milacron, Sencorp Inc. and Processing Technologies International LLC. He held sales and management positions.
Eaton was a native of Rockport, Mass. The family plans to hold a celebration of his life in Rockport sometime in June, his wife said.
