The K 2013 trade show in October will include a special show that will highlight plastics and mobility.
The show , in Hall 6 of the Messe Düsseldorf fairgrounds, will highlight personal mobility via cars, trains, public transportation and airplanes as well as the mobility of the disabled. It will include direct contributions of plastics, as well as emotional aspects, such as their effect on art and design and their potential for solving problems posed by population growth, energy consumption and climate change.
The show also feature VIP lectures and daily discussion panels, conducted in German or English on alternating days. On the second day of K 2013, Bertrand Piccard will present his project, the Solar Impulse aircraft, which makes extensive use of plastics and composites.
“Plastics move the world” will be organized by the German plastics industry with the support of PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V. and Messe Düsseldorf.
