Harrington Industrial Plastics LLC said it plans to open its fourth Texas facility.
The Chino, Calif.-based company said its new Houston office will be used for office space and house inventory of PVC, CPVC, PVDF, polypropylene and various components. The company distributes industrial plastic piping for industries with corrosive and high-purity applications.
The Houston branch will join Austin, Dallas and San Antonio facilities in Texas. The company has 45 locations throughout the country with 10 locations in California.
Bob Bacon, regional vice president for Harrington Industrial Plastics said Gordon Haines will be branch manager for the location and Joe Marshall and Jaime Lozano will work as outside salesmen for the branch.
Ipex Inc., a sister company to Harrington, has estimated pipe extrusion sales of $380 million, according to Plastics News' most recent survey. Both Harrington and Ipex are owned by Aliaxis SA.
