Italian injection press maker Negri Bossi SpA and its parent company, Sacmi Group, will exhibit in two separate stands at K 2013.
Negri Bossi will show eight integrated production centers, featuring presses with two-platen and toggle-clamp injection technology, all equipped with energy-saving smart-energy devices.
The new Bi-Power VH 1000 is the smallest of the company's two-platen range. A 650-metric ton version of the Vector series, with an integrated robot, will mold polycarbonate headlight reflector dishes. Another automotive part — head shield caps in glass-filled polyamide, will run with an integrated Sytrama robot.
The new Smart Flex clamping unit will be on all the machines, in the 160-500-tonne range, giving them an optimized structural rigidity. V-rails guide the mobbing platen, creating an oil-free molding zone.
A fully electric Vesta 300 will feature a new actuator with an ultra-rapid ball bearing screw for the short-cycle demands of packaging and medical molding. Another all-electric, an Eleos 65, a compact two-platen press, will mold a polypropylene syringe.
Negri Bossi also will showcase the Sytrama Cartesian S series manipulators.
The Sacmi stand will demonstrate high-speed presses molding caps, preforms and containers.
The companies will exhibit at Hall 15B, stand 22).
The company's U.S. unit, Negri Bossi USA Inc., is in New Castle, Del.
