RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIF. — Brian Brusca acquired Alba Enterprises Inc. of Rancho Cucamonga from his older brother, Brandon, in mid-September. Terms were not disclosed.
The brothers inherited the business from their well-known father, Tony Brusca, who died Oct. 30, 2012, at the age of 70.
“I will try to fill his shoes,” said Brian Brusca, president.
The brothers jointly operated the business until deciding to move to a sole ownership.
Tony Brusca graduated from high school in Plainfield, N.J., relocated to California in the 1960s and established Alba Enterprises in 1980. He was active in the Society of the Plastics Industry Inc. and, over the decades, was a steady presence representing Alba at numerous industry trade shows, including NPE.
Alba sells and provides services for Thermoplay SpA hot-runner systems, Cronoplast SL's Babyplast micro-injection molding machines, Vega srl mold hydraulic cylinders, Alba-brand quick-knockout couplers and Alba-originated latch systems.
