Cats being freaked out. A young lad really giving it his all. And a man and a bicycle and a whole lot of bubble wrap.
Their futures, at least when it comes to induction into the newly created Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day Hall of Fame, is in your hands.
The award was created to recognize "fans who exemplify the passion, fun and creative uses" of Bubble Wrap, according to Sealed Air Corp., maker of Bubble Wrap.
Voting is now open and runs through Jan. 17. A winner will be announced Jan. 27 on Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day.
The prize: a giant bale of commemorative Bubble Wrap, of course.
The finalists are: Eric Buss of Burbank, Calif., who has created what he calls the Bubble Wrap Bike; Kevin Fredericks of Tacoma, Wash., who caught his son Jojo in a highly energetic dance routine; and Chase Holiday of Los Angeles, who shows what happens when cats and Bubble Wrap mix.
Folks can go to www.bubblewrapfun.com to see the finalists' videos and vote for their favorite.
Don't worry, the videos are short, so your bosses won't mind.
