WESLEY CHAPEL, FLA. — Automotive supplier SRG Global Inc. won RJG Inc.'s Training Excellence Award, in news announced Feb. 24 at the Plastics News Executive Forum in Wesley Chapel.
Gary Chastain, an RJG consulting and training manager, presented the award to Jack Sprangel, molding process maintenance manager in SRG's plant in Morehead Ky., who accepted it on behalf of the company.
SRG was created in 2008 when Guardian Industries Corp. bought Seigel-Robert Inc.'s automotive unit. The company specializes in molding, chroming and clear coating.
Sprangel said SRG has five certified RJG Master Molders. The company is looking to add three more Master Molders, he said.
Automotive grilles are a major product for SRG.
