CCC has a new CEO, and he comes from a consumer goods powerhouse.
Sean Fallmann, described by Consolidated Container Co. as “a seasoned packaging executive,” takes over as president and CEO of the blow molded plastic packaging company April 28.
The 46-year-old most recently was president of Georgia-Pacific's North American consumer business.
Consolidated Container, based in Atlanta, has 56 manufacturing facilities and 2,200 employees. The company specializes in customized mid- and short-run packaging for a wide variety of customers, including those in the dairy, water, beverage, food, household chemical, automotive and industrial chemical markets.
Fallmann's appointment comes after current CEO Jeffrey Greene said earlier this year he was going to resign after a 12-year stint with Consolidated Container. Greene has served as CEO for the past eight years.
The new CEO's 18 years at Georgia-Pacific included time as president of that company's Dixie brand business.
