Essentra plc, the Milton Keynes, England-headquartered plastic packaging products group formerly known as Filtrona plc, has acquired Australian plastics processor Kelvindale Products Pty Ltd. for an undisclosed cash sum.
The deal was finalized May 12, according to an announcement from Essentra.
Kelvindale makes and distributes a range of plastic protection and finishing products — caps and plugs — and provided what Essentra called “a compelling entry point” for its component and protection solutions business into the Australian market.
Essentra has 5,500 employees, 42 manufacturing plants and a global network that extends to 32 countries.
Kelvindale is based in the Sydney suburb of Rydalmere.
