Victory Packaging is expanding its operations in Colorado with the acquisition of Network Packaging LLC of Denver.
Victory, a Houston-based packaging distributor, said in a news release that it had acquired the company and that its accounts will be consolidated into Victory Packaging's accounts as of June 2. The new operation will operate under the Victory Packaging nameplate. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Network Packaging, which was owned by Doug Roth and Paul Zancanelli, has 22 employees. Nishat Jones, director of marketing for Victory, said in a phone interview that the previous owners and employees will continue to work for the company
She also noted that Victory does have a Denver branch with about 10 employees and that they are looking to consolidate both operations in one place.
“They actually complement our existing operations, so we are just growing our client base in the Rockies,” Jones said.
She said they share the same philosophy, providing “a complete packaging solution.”
Victory works with companies to provide the packaging from design to even product fulfillment. It uses all types of materials ranging from paper to plastic depending on the needs of the clientele. It offers such items as shipping boxes, shrink wrap bags, poly-bags, packing materials and adhesives.
Victory has more than 65 warehouses and distribution facilities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. In California, it operates under the name of Golden State Container. Overall, it employs about 1,400.
