SHANGHAI — Luxembourg's International Automotive Components has opened a headquarters and technical center in Shanghai to oversee the activities of 20 plants and six R&D centers throughout Asia.
Currently 115 employees work at the 30,000-square-foot facility, but the workforce is expected to grow to 150. Brian Pour, IAC's vice president of the north Asia region, will be based in the new Shanghai headquarters.
IAC produces headliners, instrument panels, consoles and door panels in 81 factories in 19 countries worldwide.
IAC generated global sales of $5.3 billion last year.
