MUMBAI, INDIA — Singapore-based specialty stabilizer producer Sun Ace Kakoh (PTE) Ltd. is bullish on growth in India market.
The additive maker has a top compounder in India among its clients. The company serves India from plants in Singapore and Malaysia, and it is considering opening an R&D center in India.
“We hope to have it here by next year, in 2015,” said commercial director Kenny Wong, in an interview at the Vinyl India conference in Mumbai.
“The local tech center would help us in understanding the India market better for long time growth. It would also help us in improving as well as customizing products as per India market,” Wong said.
Sun Ace has been supplying PVC additives in India for 17 years.
Sun Ace's stabilizers are also commonly used for semi-rigid and plasticized PVC applications and in the manufacture of transparent packaging film and sheet, flooring, coated fabrics and automotive interiors. It has 10 global plants.
