Assets of major Canadian plastic bag manufacturer Gran Packaging are slated to be sold in an auction.
Gran Packaging of Toronto is a division of privately owned Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. of Toronto, a large paper products and paper recycling business.
Infinity Asset Solutions of Concord, Ontario, will conduct the auction June 24 at Gran's production plant in conjunction with PerryVidex. The auction will be live and through a webcast.
Gran's equipment includes six- and eight color flexographic presses, numerous four- and six-color bag printing presses, five three-layer and monolayer blown film lines, T-shirt and merchandise bag lines, a reprocessing line, silos, laboratory equipment and supporting and auxiliary equipment.
Plastics News estimated Gran's annual sales at about $65 million in its 2013 film and sheet extruders' survey.
Gran officials and Infinity representatives were not immediately available for comment.
