France's Texen Group, a major maker of plastic packaging for cosmetic and perfume products, commissioned a KraussMaffei injection molding machine: a hybrid CXZ 160-380/180 press.
Texen had sales of nearly 170 million euros in the last fiscal year and employs nearly 1,000 people. The company molds plastic packaging and screw-cap enclosures at eight factories in Europe, North America and Latin America.
The CXZ press is a two-component molding machine, equipped with an LRX side-entry robot. The machine will be used in a new innovation center, called Texen Lab, for developing new products.
