A trio of Italian plastic machinery companies has formed a network and is retaining Alliance Automation LLC to market their products in the United States and Canada.
Baruffaldi Plastic Technology srl, Engin Plast srl and Comav srl have formed the network called North Italian Plastic Technology, also known as NIP-Tech.
Barruffaldi specializes in custom plastic extrusion equipment. It offers the hot blade guillotine cutting machine, as well as tools, haul-off, punching and milling machines. Its Primac division does machines for large corrugated plastic pipes.
Engin Plast offers granulators and pneumatic transport systems for the plastic recycling and transport industries.
Comav makes machines for compacting and recycling expanded polystyrene packaging. They also specialize in bag emptying equipment.
All three companies have machinery installed in more than 50 countries. The NIP-Tech companies are planning an introduction for NPE 2015 in Orlando, Fla., in March.
Alliance, which is based in Grand Blanc, Mich., was formed in 2001. It is a machinery manufacturer and robotic integrator that specializes in robotic water jet and foam pouring systems. The company also supplies automation systems.
