Hungarian plastics recycler Polyter-Mix kft has launched a new 1,400-square-meter production hall at a site in Körösladány in southeastern Hungary.
The processor and waste management firm reported that construction work was completed earlier this year and Polyter-Mix had carried out the technical transfer in May.
The company invested almost half a million euros ($646,000) on the development with European Union support. Polyter-Mix received almost 300,000 euros ($388,000) grant towards the project from the EU through Hungary's New Széchenyi Plan Regional Operational Programme (ROP) to assist small and medium sized enterprises, according to the Hungarian news agency MTI.
The company, which employs 33, recorded increased revenue in recent years, from 321,000 euros ($415,000) in 2009 to nearly 1 million euros ($1.29 million) in 2013.
