Chem-Trend LP has outlined several more expansion projects for its mold release agents, process aids and specialty lubricants.

In Valinhos, Brazil, Chem-Trend and sister company SurTec are developing a new production, administration and laboratory complex. Chem-Trend has been in Brazil for about 30 years and claims to be the leading release agent supplier in South America.
In Mysore, India, Chem-Trend is expanding a facility it established in 1989. The project includes production, warehouse, administration and technical center projects in conjunction with sister companies in the Freudenberg Chemical Specialties group. Chem-Trend finished the first phase of the expansion in 2013 and by 2016 the facility will be complete and have 163,000 square feet of space. Chem-Trend said Mysore will become a major technical center for Southeast Asia.
Other recent Chem-Trend projects include expansion of its thermoplastic and polyurethane research center in Maisach, Germany, and a boost in product development and testing in Howell.
