A Dublin-based company is launching a new brand to unify its plastics businesses into a single entity called OnePlastics Group.
OnePlastics is being born out of One51plc Group and includes seven businesses coming together under a unified name.
“The plastics division within One51plc Group has been enjoying strong growth in recent years and the creation of the OnePlastics Group brand as a separate entity will give us a strong platform to realize our vision of becoming a leading manufacturer of plastic products in each of the sectors in which we operate,” said Conor Sugrue, commercial director of OnePlastics, in a statement.
The entity includes: MGB Plastics, Straight, ACC Plastics and Protech Performance Containers in the United Kingdom; Protech Performance Plastics and Thormac Engineering in Ireland; and Protech Plastics China. OnePlastics Group also will have a new office in Boston.
“Bringing all the businesses together with all their different capabilities makes sense from a strategic level and also gives our customers access to a very strong offering in terms of price, service and innovation,” Sugrue said.
Annual sales of the injection molding company will be about $192 million (150 million euros) for the combined operation that will employ about 450.
