ResTech Plastic Molding LLC is expanding its reach to Pennsylvania, with the acquisition of True Precision Plastics LLC.
“With this acquisition our company continues its expansion throughout the United States and allows us to be even closer to our customers as we provide state-of-the-art technical design, innovative automation systems, greater purchasing power and an enhanced team of expert technicians and problem solvers,” said George Danis, CEO of ResTech Plastic Molding, in a news release.
True Precision operates out of a 25,000 square foot facility in Lancaster, Pa. It serves the communications, electronics, medical, transportation, industrial and automotive industries.
Overall, RPM will now have 83 injection molding presses, ranging from 33 to 500 tons of clamping force. The company is headquartered in Hudson, Mass.
RPM has been growing in recent years, adding Northeast Mold & Plastics in February 2014 and Tech Atlantic in April 2012. It has since combined both of those acquisitions under the name Northeast Mold & Plastics in Berlin, Conn.
