Milwaukee's Triangle Tool Corp. is adding space for its tool making operations.
The privately owned mold builder will expand its building from 205,000 to 225,000 square feet, with the addition expected to be completed in late February or early March, Daniel Gouge, Triangle Tool's vice president of sales, told Plastics News.
The company added a 4,400-ton KraussMaffei coinjection molding machine in March 2014 to expand its sampling capabilities, which, along with other factors, led to a strong 18 months for the business, Gouge said. Construction on the expansion started in December.
Triangle Tool specializes in building large molds for the appliance, home product, industrial and automotive industries. The company reported yearly sales of $50 million, according to Plastics News data.
