Polish chemical company PCC Rokita and Thailand's IRPC Polyols have set up a joint venture agreement for the sale of polyols and polyurethane systems.
IRPC Polyols will manufacture new products based on technology supplied by PCC Rokita and supply them to the JV.
The partnership aims to target China, India and Southeast Asia with the range.
According to a statement on IRPC's website, the investment is in line with the firm's with the “strategy to develop products with high added value.”
Charles Ritchie, marketing and sales director for PCC Rokita, told Urethanes Technology International there could be no discussion of the cost of deal and said it could take a month for it to be formalized.
