Foodservice Packaging Institute is joining the board of the Curbside Value Partnership, a non-profit group that works to improve curbside recycling in the United States.
“We joined the CVP board of directors because we recognize a unique opportunity to collaborate for the greater good. By combining efforts, we reach more consumers with the message that many packaging items can be recycled at the curb. Improving curbside recycling access of a broad base of material types will improve the recovery system as a whole,” said FPI Vice President Natha Dempsey in a statement.
FPI is a Falls Church, Va.-based trade association representing the food service packaging industry in North America.
