The European Plastics Distributors Association (EPDA), which represents members from more than 20 countries throughout Europe, has launched an international promotional campaign.
The association was formed in 1973 and represents companies across a range of distribution activities including plastic sheet, blocks, rods, profiles, tubes, pipe, valves and fittings.
As part of the changes, a program of membership activities is being developed, including a three-day conference in Barcelona June 11-13.
A major manufacturing plant visit for members is also planned later this year to showcase some of the latest advances in plastic manufacturing.
In addition, the EPDA, based in Salisbury, England, has formed an alliance agreement with the International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) which will provide educational and training support.
EDPA president David Ladyman said: “EPDA members are often at the forefront of industry investments and our aim during the course of the next twelve months is to showcase some of these members to ensure that they get the recognition they deserve.”
